SPRING IS BLOOMING WITH COLOR, FLORALS AND GEOMETRICS!

Florals
Floral prints abound in everything from soft, flowy blouses to long, fluid dresses and gowns. This spring the main theme running through the designs of the season seem to be fluid, sheer and romantic. Not to be left out, geometric designs reminiscent of the 70's are back with a vengeance. They are bold and strong in colors and graphic prints, but like florals, they are soft and feminine in design. You can find the patterns in everything from blouses to skirts and the ever classic wrap dress.

Colors
Imagine a rainbow of vivid and bright colors reminiscent of that brand new crayon box that you got for the first day of school. The color to have this spring has got to be canary yellow; so intense it makes the simplest of silhouettes stand out and say "Here I Am!". The rich colors of orange, royal blue and a deep fuchsia are not for the faint of heart, but by keeping it simple and committing to just one or two of these colors you call pull off a flattering, bold look.

Shoes
Wedges. Yay, they are back! Wedges are offered in everything from a casual fun look to glitzy, ready to step out on the the town! Wedges are great in offering a bit more comfort and support than just a typical high heel would provide. Sandals and flats are of course here to stay. Sandals are showing up in worldly, ethnic styles with a collection of tropical colors and earth tones to choose from. A great inexpensive way to vamp up your trendy wardrobe! The flat is available in everything from solid hues to bold, patterned prints to the softer gilded look of silver, gold and bronze.

Must Haves
The must haves for this season...trench coats, blazers and cardigans, perfect for the brisk evenings we still encounter in Florida. These staples tend to be in solids but sill available in the palette of spring colors. Try a lightweight blazer or trench coat over a dress or skirt ensemble to keep away the morning and evening chill or just to add that extra layered look!

Pulling It All Together
Just remember when mixing and matching prints, let one print be your bold and vibrant statement and the second print must be smaller in scale and more subtle in tone, while still staying in the same color family.

The same goes with the vivid colors of spring. Team an explosive color of a blue or fuchsia blouse with a dark denim or solid neutral. Remember a flowy top deserves a more tailored bottom or skirt and vice versa. If you are sporting a more curve-hugging top, be sure you add a fluid, floaty skirt or slacks with a wider cut leg. Keeping this in mind, spring offers a palette and style to be embraced by women of all ages and size. Enjoy and remember we are always here to help and assist you with your style choices!
